Christmas is over, the kids are back in school and the winter is really starting to bite here in Ireland. With temperatures of -8 degrees being reported in some parts of the country, it’s no wonder our thoughts are already turning to our next sunshine getaway.

The Algarve has become a very popular destination for the Irish in the last few years. With the half term break now only four weeks away many families will now be starting to plan for a week away. The half term break takes place this year between Saturday 14th and Sunday 22nd February.

While February is not the warmest month in the Algarve, you are still guaranteed at least 7 hours sunshine a day with an average temperature of around 18 degrees. Bit warmer than here then ;-)
